Hearth Rejuvenation

Over grouted stonework is a very modern look, however, the typical grout used for this effect is a brighter white color, as opposed to the present gray. The present grout color blends with the finish of the stone too well, and residue from the grout is also muting the tone of the stones. We suggest allowing us to perform a series of processes that will modernize the hearth. We will begin by wire brushing all stone surfaces to clean grout residue from the stone and revive the natural hues. Next, a fire rated clear stain, or white semi-transparent stain, depending on desired look, will be applied to the stone surfaces to brighten the depth of the stone. Finally, the present grout will be thinly brushed with a white grout to emphasize and modernize the current over-grouting look. Cost for this service is $735.
